Bank information in Germany are given by credit institutes in a standardized procedure over their customers. The information contains general statements over solvency, credit-worthiness and economical conditions of the customer.
The bank information does not contain exact numbers over account balances, monthly obligations or something similar differences will must between business and private customers, as well as after the receiver of the information. Under banks information are given over both customer groups, if the inquiring bank can state a justified interest. Data of private customers may not be published without their agreement on third. Exceptions form official inquiries, like in tax or criminal procedures, which is judicially arranged. Information over business customers (with trade register entry) may be given regularly, since this is seen as service for the business relations of the customers. The business customer can explain however opposite the bank expressly that he does not wish this, whereupon the bank may give information only with its agreement.
