The European Association OF CO-operational bank (EACB, German European combination of the loan banks) was created 1970 and is one of the prominent bankers' syndicates in Europe.
Members are genossenschaftliche bankers' syndicates from 21 European countries, inclusive of Eastern European countries. The 45 million members, that will represent of the EACB, represent 60,000 offices also over 650.000 coworkers. The business share of the EACB members amounts to European-wide approximately 20%. The EACB is the official partner for institutions for European Union in genossenschaftlichen questions.
Task of the EACB is the moreover one to inform the genossenschaftlichen banks of the members about important European changes in the banking and to coordinate the genossenschaftlichen interests of the 21 represented countries.
